Project:
North Pickering Kitchen Remodel
This home was a relatively newer 1980’s custom built country family home in a private setting with an existing backyard pool. While somewhat more modern than some of the homes we work on, the kitchen itself was beginning to look dated, and moreover the client wished to appreciate the pool and yard all year long (instead of just the warmer months). The plan was to create a “glass conservatory-style addition“in keeping with the architecture of the home in a difficult “inside corner“application. At the same time the kitchen was updated to a more modern look and function. The result was a new main floor kitchen with an island, dining area, and a soft seating area where family and friends can be together in an open and inviting space.
